This picture is of JPNA members sharing their concerns with the mayor. These people care about the neighborhood probably because some of them live there or all of them live there and its their home and they want to improve it. The neighborhood is very important to Milwaukee and has a lot of history behind it. Johnsons Park helps make up the city of Milwaukee. Its not just the houses or any of the physical surroundings that make it important. It bring a lot of history to to the area, the big idea is that its the people who live there that make it what it is. The residents who have lived there for all of their life or most of their lives must have a lot of interesting things to say, a lot of stories to tell about the neighborhood. What the residents have to say about the neighborhood helps contribute to its history and the history of Milwaukee and it is important that what they have to say is preserved for future residents so that they can really appreciate their home.
